Who we are

Furnace Agency is owned and operated by the HVAC.Agency network, led by Ali Sedighi (MBA, CTO & Technology Strategist). Our office is in Vancouver, BC.

What information we collect

When you fill out a form on our website (request a free audit, download a resource, book a consultation), we collect:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Business name
• City
• Website URL (optional)
• Message content (when you describe what you need help with)
• Page URL where you submitted the form
• Timestamp of submission
• Referring URL and user-agent (for analytics)

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Reply to your inquiry or send the requested resource
• Provide the HVAC marketing services you requested
• Send occasional helpful emails (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• Improve our website and services
• Comply with legal obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share data only with service providers we need to run our business (e.g., Zapier, email infrastructure, our CRM). These providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and lead data for as long as you remain a customer plus seven years (Canadian tax-record retention), then we delete it. You can request earlier deletion anytime.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

• Know what we collect and how we use it
• Access your data
• Correct inaccuracies
• Request deletion
• Withdraw consent at any time

Cookies & analytics

We use minimal analytics (page views, referrer) to understand how our site is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers without your consent. Our forms use a Zapier webhook to capture leads — Zapier's privacy policy is at zapier.com/privacy.

CASL compliance

All marketing emails we send comply with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email identifies us, contains an easy unsubscribe link, and is sent only after you've requested it.
